Tips for application:

Painting Conditions: Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area such as an open garage. Apply when temperature is between 50-90ºF (10- 32ºC) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply to surfaces that, when heated, exceed 200°F (93°C) or galvanized steel. Avoid spraying in very windy and dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist.

Surface Preparation: Wash the surface with a commercial detergent, or other suitable cleaning method to remove dirt. Rinse with fresh water and dry with a clean cloth. Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces.

Application: Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle DO NOT STRIKE CAN. Contact Rust-Oleum. Make sure to apply paint to the reverse side of glass that will be displayed. Hold can upright 10-16” from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the can in motion while spraying. Apply 2 or more coats a few minutes apart. Do not use near open flame.

For best result: Use of a Rust-Oleum White primer provides added corrosion protection, enhances adhesion and hiding, and is especially recommended for metal and wood surfaces. Recommended primers include 224430T Painters Touch Flat White Primer, 7980502 American Accents Flat White Primer and 249058 Painters Touch White Primer.
