HP Officejet 4500 - G510h Multifunction Inkjet Printer

Officejet G510h is a thermal inkjet all-in-one printer with color fax. The best part is the all-in-one multitasking feature, which helps you in your multitasking efforts. The HP G510h also allows you to network it, with the Ethernet RJ-45 connector. With USB 2.0 connectivity, it is easy to connect this HP printer to any PC. This printer comes with 64 MB memory that provides sufficient support for its print, scan, copy and fax functions along with multitasking.

Body
The HP Officejet is a compact printer with dimensions of 433.5 x 401.5 x 216.7 mm, and a weight of 5.9 kg. With a cubic space-age inspired futuristic shape, the G510h printer is crowned with the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) tray that hatches open to reveal the flatbed scanner. A 1-line text LCD display with Asian font support and backlight, along with a control panel that has full number pad support is attached to the ADF tray. This control panel has other buttons like Start button, Cancel Button and Setup button. It also has an Attention indicator light that indicates error. The rear of the printer houses the USB slot, the Power socket, Ethernet RJ-45 port and the line in for fax. The HP G510h comes with three Media loader trays. The input tray has a capacity of up to 100 sheets, while the output tray has a capacity of 20 sheets. The ADF tray has a capacity of 20 sheets. On opening the front Cartridge access door, you will find that the cartridge dock slides to the side cartridge access window when the HP Deskjet 4500 printer is powered on. Once the cartridges are installed, the printer setup is easy.

Printer
The HP Deskjet G510h printer has a print speed for black (draft, A4) page, of up to 28 ppm, and a print speed for colour (draft, A4) page, of up to 22 ppm. This HP 4500 G510h printer has a monthly duty cycle of up to 3000 pages, with a recommended monthly page volume of 350 to 600 pages. With a resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi for black and up to 4800 x 1200 dpi for color, this 4500 printer has a normal resolution of 1200 x 1200 input dpi. Scan The scanner provides two options for loading original media: Flatbed, and ADF. ADF allows you to scan a number of pages while you work on other things. This scanner on the 4500 G510h printer has a scan resolution of up to 1200 dpi, with a color bit depth of 48-bit. The flatbed has a scan area of 216 x 297 mm while the ADF provides a scan area of 216 x 356 mm.

Copy
With a copy speed of up to 28 cpm for monochrome prints and up to 22 cpm for color, the HP Deskjet 4500 printer has a copy resolution for monochrome prints of up to 600 x 1200 dpi and a color copy resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. You can enlarge or reduce the size of the copied area from 25 % of original to 400 %. This Deskjet 4500 printer can print a maximum of 90 copies.

Fax
The Deskjet G510h can transmit fax as fast as 3 sec per page, with a memory for 100 pages. The resolution of fax can be up to 300 x 300 dpi. Speed dial setting can ensure that you rapidly send faxes up to 99 numbers. This fax printer also allows you to auto redial or send faxes after a pre-set time delay, in other words you can schedule your fax sending.

Features
You could block Junk fax senders with the Junk fax barrier facility that will function if you have Caller ID facility on your fax line. You can also forward faxes. This All-in-One printer has a power consumption of 17 watts.
